Our Company

History

JBL Construction Services was started in South Florida in 1990 by Joe Levin, an experienced construction professional. Early on, several of JBL’s projects included projects such as banks, restaurants, offices, medical facilities and cruise ship interior renovations. 

The industry relationships Mr. Levin fostered throughout the previous decade contributed to securing projects for clients like The Baptist Hospital System, The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale Hospital, Bayside Marketplace and more.

As a Philadelphia native, Mr. Levin returned to his hometown in 1997, taking JBL Construction Services with him. At that time, the team began taking on renovation projects for low-income and tax credit homes for a community development company called Neighborhood Restorations. JBL soon expanded its project range, completing multi-family residential buildings, ground-up construction and scattered-site single-family housing for organizations such as:
